Plain rules for the site and the member area. Taking part in an event is covered by the waiver you agree to when you register. Last updated September 15, 2026.
What this is
These terms cover the wakasflockrun.com website and the member area called The Flock. By using the site or making an account you are agreeing to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site, and nothing is lost.
Taking part in an actual event is covered by the waiver you agree to when you register for that event, not by this page. Tickets are covered by the ticketing platform's own terms and by our registration policy.
Your account
Give us real information. An emergency contact that is not real is worse than no emergency contact at all.
Your login is yours. Do not share it, and tell us if you think somebody else has it.
You can close your account whenever you want by emailing us. We will close it and delete what we are not required to keep.
We can close an account if somebody is using it to harass people, break the law, or pass themselves off as us. We will tell you why rather than just pulling the plug.
How to behave here
This is a run club experience built on people showing up for each other. Do not harass, threaten or abuse anybody. Do not post anything you do not have the right to post. Do not use the site to advertise your own thing without asking us first.
Do not try to break the site, scrape it, or reach data that is not yours. Our partner interface exists for the people we have given a key to, and using it outside that is not on.
What you put on the site
Anything you put on your profile stays yours. By putting it here you are letting us show it on the site where it makes sense, for example in your city chapter if you have chosen to be visible.
You can take it down whenever you want. If we have to remove something because it breaks these terms, we will tell you.
What is ours
The Flock Run name, the logo, the artwork and the writing on this site are ours. You are welcome to share our posts and tell people about the events. You are not welcome to put our name or logo on your own product, event or merchandise without asking.
Other people's platforms
We link out to ticketing platforms, social networks and partner sites. Once you are there you are on their terms and their privacy policy, not ours. We pick our partners carefully but we do not run their systems.
The honest limits
We work to keep the site up and correct, but we do not promise it is never down and never wrong. Event details can change, and when they do we tell the people who registered.
Nothing here takes away a right you have by law where you live. Nothing on this site is medical advice. A 5K is physical activity, so talk to a doctor before starting something new, and if something hurts on the day, stop.
Changes
When these terms change we publish a new version with a new date rather than editing this one quietly. Carrying on using the site after that means the new version applies. This version is stamped TERMS-2026-09-15.
